Popular Post joeypots Posted July 20, 2020 Popular Post Posted July 20, 2020 I've reviewed cigars from this box before here. When I think the box is on I smoke them and unless another Siglo IV pops up in an unexpected place this is the last of the box. (I do put cigars in tubes and in other cigar boxes to make space in the humidor.) Overall my assessment of the cigars is that they've been good, getting a score of mostly 4 stars over the last two years with a few 3s here and there. I'll chalk up the 3s to moisture. Keeping cigars dry in the New England summer humidity is a chore. I can keep the cabinet at about 63-5 RH but the desk top beads have to be dried out every other week, at least. This cigar was taken from the humidor that registered a lovely 63% RH at 70 F. On a sweltering 85 degree day I thought that was pretty good. This Siglo was great. Cohiba through and through it had potent tobacco flavors with a medium citrus twang. It was nicely packed and had a draw that was just firm enough so that a gentle pull gave lots of smoke. The burn was straight and the cigar needed barely one touch up. All in all this was a great 90 minute smoke on a Sunday afternoon that left me satisfied and uninterested in a follow up cigar. 5 Stars. 6
