His statement that every cigar from a box of "new age" cigars will smoke free of any issues from the control of their quality is just trash and untrue.  These are handmade products, regardless their country of origin, and as such there will be inconsistency, no matter the brand or COO.

I am not trashing NCs, they have upped their game in the last 3-5 years from a blending angle and there are many that are absolutely fantastic these days imho.  I like what he said, "they are all just different" and I like the fact there are unique qualities to in every cigar , its what keep me interested.

How about Rolex timepieces? A stainless steel Daytona that retails for 13.5K is being listed for close to 30K on the secondary market. And people are buying them at 30K because the display cases are empty and the watches are in the safe reserved for the VVIP's and the grey dealers. Go try to buy a Ferrari at your local dealer or a Birkin handbag for the wife. All " luxury" goods are becoming just for the big fish now.
