Habana Mike Posted July 7, 2020 Posted July 7, 2020 Definitely not the end of the FDA effort, but good news anyway. "The US Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit has unanimously struck down warning labels on cigars." https://blindmanspuff.com/cigar-news-us-court-of-appeals-strikes-down-warning-labels/
Guest Nekhyludov Posted July 7, 2020 Posted July 7, 2020 I was excited initially when I saw the news, but it turns out that the ruling also eliminates the requirement that the FDA distinguish or define premium cigars (as opposed to, for example, machine made). Lumping all cigars together may turn out to be a bad thing in the long run. https://halfwheel.com/district-court-strikes-down-fda-warning-labels-for-all-cigars-pipes/378417/
NSXCIGAR Posted July 7, 2020 Posted July 7, 2020 That's a first--requiring evidence something works before implementing it. 1
