Popular Post Habana Mike Posted June 6, 2020 Popular Post Posted June 6, 2020 Rummaging through the cabinet last night I found a cab of Boli PC. Been awhile since I got that far back on the shelves. Seemed a perfect time for a mareva. These one of my staples in the earlier years of my cigar career. Easily found, inexpensive (around $200 US a cab). Found one with the right draw and off to the races. Clipped and leather, barnyard, touch of cedar at cold. Similar on the light. Still some good strength and body. For the album, a bit torn. Had a couple in mind though UB40 was streaming Red Red Wine at the time I started this review. A great song that goes way back from release, threading back and forth through our lives. Back to the BPC, coming through the middle it has dark earth, graham cracker and a sweet yellow pepper note. Still on the upper end of body ad strength. Nothing quite like the early '90s versions though. Burn and ash on this have been spot on. Almost an hour in I'm approaching the final third. Mouthfeel is on the drier side. A touch salty. Strength increases. Hints of white pepper on the retrohale. While I am enjoying the cigar, music is still streaming. Danny Gatton comes on. A fantastic guitarist. Here's a great compilation link. Last couple of minutes are the best for me. That's around the time we used to see him. Back to the cigar Still performing swimmingly. Not yet much transition from the second third. Maybe a little toast. Slowest I've smoked a PC in a while. This may hit 90 minutes. Partially from this stream of consciousness review, the music on my shuffle and generally just chilling out. If you enjoyed the previous video this is a good follow on. From there it's easy to explore more. And then this comes up. In the theme of GVan's review. https://www.pandora.com/station/play/113466176902513445 Anyway I finished the cigar after about 90 minutes. Enjoyable. A 91 14
Rhinoww Posted June 6, 2020 Posted June 6, 2020 Still my favorite stick. I keep coming back. An 08 find, now that is a real treat. And oddly some UB40 came up on my Spotify produced playlist. Weird. 1
