Among my favorite dalias is Partagas 898. There is something about it that pleases me beyond what it seems to actually offer. It is predominantly savory with just a touch of sweetness to round out the profile. It brings cinnamon, light cedar, white pepper, a touch of date sweetness and dark chocolate with a leathery scotch like finish. That finish made me grab a couple fingers of The Glenlivet 12 yr making it even more Godfathery!...and it worked incredibly well together. I give the 898 a 94 with some upside, though they don't need much more time. I hope to see these in production again soon because I want get more without paying secondary market prices. 15

Yes, the glass is designed for a cigar. Smaller rg sticks. The big boys won't fit...that's what she said. It was a gift from my wife. 3 1
