2017 Cuaba Distinguidos (DRRW)

This is my 4th from a six pack I bought 2 years ago. Each of the first 3 were terrible tasting like either wet newspaper or a burn pile of leaves. I can’t say I’m looking forward to this one at all. Cold aroma of barnyard and sweet tobacco.   Happy to show off my FOH stand I received yesterday in the mail. 


Opening is a surprise. Nutty and nice barnyard twang. First third stays much the same. 2nd third brings in some creamy sweetness to the nuttiness and it keeps that barnyard a little but that is fading. 
 

Final third adds a little coffe type bitterness but sweetness is still there. I actually nubbed this one. It was surprisingly good. Burned pretty well although it needed several small touch ups but not too bad. This was an A- all day. I told @El Presidente that I was a skeptic about this one but he was right. I’ll actually look forward to the next visit.
