Decided last night to make a big Italian dinner. Homemade meatballs and gravy, spicy Italian sausage, about 3 lbs of chicken, and gnocci.

But first had to sit on the porch and have a smoke. The diplo, as usual, was a solid smoke.

First third: nice draw, burn even, light flavors, a little creamy, maybe a little bready. Perfect for pre-meatballs and gravy.

Second third: a little salt coming through, occasional bell pepper popping in and out, got an interesting perfume-like note for a minute, nice coffee notes coming in near th end end of second third

Final third: getting a little pepper, still bready. Then I got caught up in the Wheezycab post and forgot to pay attention... but the final third was good.

Smoked it down to the nub. A bad cigar burns your mouth, a good cigar burns your fingers. I'll give this one a 90.
