i have no issue at all with vegan alternatives but you can't, surely, call them meat or chicken or frogs or whatever they are not. you could package mud and sell it is chicken-free chicken if you wanted. chicken.thumb.jpg.077328e2860601eae50e6b66b840c3c7.jpg

I don't know how FSANZ allowed that packaging. They were supposed to review that kind of packaging last year, after the Govt kicked up a stink about it. I can guarantee you there will be shoppers out there who will buy it, thinking that it is real chicken. Picture of a chicken, with the word "Chicken" being the most prominent, not "Chicken Free" or "Plant Protein". Misleading. And they shouldn't place these products in the same chiller as the meat products. Keep the vegan products separate from the meat products to avoid any confusion.

There's even a tuna free vegan alternative called "Tuno".

There are already tobacco free snuff pouches and cigarettes available. I'm guessing cigars will not be too far behind.
