Popular Post Chibearsv Posted April 19, 2020 Popular Post Posted April 19, 2020 I actually smoked 4 different cigars this weekend that are over 90 pointers (Siglo V, Esplendido,Sir Winston, and Tacos) and decided to post the one that was the most interesting out of the bunch. Wrapper is a little bumpy and has some light spotting but it doesn't look bad. Cold aroma of cedar, stewed fruit, and leather. Punched it and the draw is perfect. Just slight resistance. Opens with medium body and creamy smoke. 1st third is cedar and sweet cream. Medium strength. Very nice 2nd third the cedar fades and the sweetness fades a little and raisin flavor starts to build. This is quite different from the RyJ churchills that I enjoy regularly. Final third is toasty grains, raisins, white pepper and cream. Overall, this cigar reminds me of a bowl of Raisin Bran which is really nice. Not as much sweetness as the opening promised but maybe just a little more time will get it there overall. I tried the first one out of this box a couple weeks ago and it was very similar. I remember thinking I had a Raisin Bran cigar recently but didn't remember that it was this cigar; as soon as I lit it, that memorable flavor profile was there again. I normally grade with letters and this is a solid A- to A or 92. I'll let these age some more but I'll be back into this box again soon. I know the LEs get a bad rap sometimes but this is a pretty good value for a box of 25. Nice 105-120 minute smoke 15
