Popular Post Çnote Posted April 17, 2020 Popular Post Posted April 17, 2020 Thanks to @MigsG again for these! Having had a couple over the last few months, these are a 30 minute hit of cherries jubilee over chocolate ice cream. It's a solid 90 for me, perfect size for my schedule and very consistent burn, they seem to be more flavorful every time I grab one....alas they'll be gone by the end of summer. 5
NSXCIGAR Posted April 17, 2020 Posted April 17, 2020 I bought two boxes of SL in 13 or 14, same code, ALT OCT 12 checking my notes. One was great--90/91 pts, the other not so great, 88 pts. Haven't tried any since as they are not a great value. They're quite small and it's hard to find them less than $3/stick. I can get RG perlas for around that price so it's a tough buy but I still do recall those 90/91 SLs being great. 1
Perla Posted April 17, 2020 Posted April 17, 2020 The RY SL & PL Panet are the cigar what got me one the hook.

That’s awesome to hear! I’d forgotten about those. Wonder how you got them to be more flavorful? Kept them a little more moist? Wish I could have tasted what you describe... there are certain cigars just made for certain folks! But like some say, it’s an expensive cigar for the size when there are some others like more. I suggest buying a few boxes now, never know when they’ll discontinue them. I’m currently into RyJ Petit Coronas, just received a DEC 17 box 2 weeks ago. Another tasty and overlooked RyJ. 1

I'm using 72% boveda blocks in a large tupperdore, my digital reads run between 64-67% depending on ambient temp. I have been pulling a few days supply to put in a travel humidor recently, but this one didn't spend more than an overnight in that before being put to flame. I'll be switching to lower % when I run out of 72%'s, but that may be another year. I haven't had any noticable burn issues even at 68%ish, which the environment will get to if I don't open it for a couple weeks... 1
