Popular Post Bri Fi Posted April 11, 2020 Popular Post Posted April 11, 2020 This is the first out of a box of 25 I received on 24:24, and first ever. It was one of my bucket list purchases. I picked the roughest looking one in the box. I cut it with a straight cut and the cold draw revealed sourdough bread and perfect amount of resistance. I lit the cigar and took my first puff. Literally the first words out of my mouth was, “Oh wow...” the second puff was, “holy $hit.” I’ve never had a cigar start out with such a bang. Usually they need to warm up, but this didn’t waste any time at all. Flavors were dominated by sourdough bread with sweet bread in the background. The sourdough note made the first third all cuban twang. The draw has the perfect amount of resistance and the construction was spot on. The wrapper split about an inch in the beginning, but I never corrected it and it kept a razor sharp burn like a champ. The second half was sweeter than the first but still lots of twang. I retrohaled and there was absolutely zero harshness. There was a slight amount of bitterness on the tongue but not unpleasant. The last third was more sourdough but with some nuts, cream, and leather. The cigar didn’t need one touch up at all. The smoke was thick and heavy. Final thoughts: this was a pleasure to smoke. The cigar lasted about two hours. I’m so glad I have 24 more of these babies left. I’m sure they will age wonderfully. It left me thinking why I chose to buy anything else but winnies. 93/100 11 1
