With all the craziness I've had far more time in the evenings so I've settled in to be a cigar a night guy (up from 3-4 a week). Had back to back rough CCs. One was a Boli PC that was really nice, but too young and got harsh fast. A plugged RASS followed. Well, CC consistency and such I went with a Fuente thinking I should be in the clear.  It was surprisingly stem-heavy along the wrapper and tough to enjoy. I fought through it, but it wasn't pleasant. Then last night I found the most stem-heavy cigar I've ever seen. My Father Bijou with 2-3 stems the size of drink straws. After operating on the thing more than Doogie Howser with my PerfecDraw I finally decided to rip that bastard open.

Pic for reference. I'm going to HAVE to smoke an old faithful tonight because this is getting out of control! All that... in a petit robusto. Oof.

Wowsers! My last fuente was frustrating due to large stems as well. May tonight bring you a wonderful smoke!!

Here for the lawn service thread..  Trees, branches and general upkeep.

It sounds like you're bound for a great run moving forward.  You got the rough patches out of the way.  Wishing you happy sailing and easy draws!

I find the best way to get out of a slump is to fire up a Juan Lopez. #1 or #2, doesn’t matter. Never had a bad one. So consistent.
