a friend of mine from west australia pointed out Queensland priorities.

i had not realised this. 

our premier, locally known as the village idiot, shut down the churches a week before she shut down the brothels. you have to love that!

personally, i just assumed that most go from one to the other or possibly that govt ministers put their collective feet down and insisted the brothels stayed open as long as possible.
