Popular Post dominattorney Posted March 28, 2020 Popular Post Posted March 28, 2020 One of my favorite robustos that bolivar makes. ? from a relatively recent 2424 purchase, quarantined in the basement with my wife. God have mercy on our souls. I am pairing this little beauty with Jester King Provenance, a nice wildly fermented beer with lemon and lime peel added. It's like a dry brett expression of a Sprite, and something tells me it will be a good match. I am not let down by the cigar, the beer or the pair. The first third of the royal corona is a punch of leather and earth, with some pepper that my wife describes as too spicy for her. It does not overpower the subtle nature of the beers yeast, nor the citrus after taste. second third and cocoa is in the mix, but leather remains and the pepper evens out. I notice the cigar is a bit under filled in the middle, but nothing that effects the draw or experience too poorly. My wife expresses her impatience to pantomiming falling asleep on the ground as the final third begins to turn bitter. This box is still young, and I think these would be much better by july. Still, an enjoyable 70 minutes and there is much potential for this PSP box. 89 of 100 5
