Akela3rd Posted March 22, 2020 Posted March 22, 2020 First impression is that this is suspiciously light in the hand, but the cigar feels fine with no obvious soft spots. Dull and slightly knarly wrapper. The draw, as expected, is light. Cold draw gives little indication of anything really beyond a slightly sweet farmyard. Once lit there's a touch of molasses but the light draw waters down anything obvious. Paired it with Adnam's Ghost Ship 0.5%, one of the best AF beers I've found. The citrus notes match the hint of lemongrass in the cigar well. It's burning quickly but it's not going off kilter at all through the first half. Quite mild in flavour and strength for one of these but pleasant enough. Touches of citrus, slight pepperyness, underlying dark sweetness.Second half disappears in a flash, burning slightly hot towards the end. Definitely under filled, but strangely consistent with a razor burn to the end. Nice enough flavours in there somewhere and from this box an anomaly as the rest have been full and satisfying. A disappointing 20 mins from start to finish. Short review of a too short cigar... 6/10 Sent from GJ 1151 4
