BeerPimp Posted February 23, 2020 Posted February 23, 2020 I purchased this box in August of 2018. It has been a good cigar but the flavor profile that many people talk about has not been there. I would usually get coffee, spice, and light wood flavors. I decided to pair it with my an Old Fashion (I used Larceny Bourbon). I cut it and the draw was a little too open but nothing to be concerned with. On cold draw I got light coffee and tobacco. First Third was a ting of vegetal at the very beginning then it turned into spongecake and cream. 2nd Third and it really starts to get going with coffee, cream, and spongecake. Final third and more of the same with a touch of white pepper. This cigar really stayed even with its flavor. I smoked this cigar to the nub. I will say that this was the best example of this box I have smoked. I would be very happy if the rest smoked the same. I will definitely be regretting only picking up a 10 count box instead of a 25 count box. It burned almost perfectly with only one minor touch up. The draw was perfect once it got going and it produced tons of smoke. I am going to give this a 96%. Glad that I took advantage of the nice day we had even though it was overcast. 3
