Yep, worse.  I see the guardrail (if you can call it that) has breaks in it to let water drain off the road.  Maybe purposefully or just a result of nature's course.  It's also the place where the road is eroding away the most.  Did they give you a tee-shirt at least?  "I Survived the Road to ________"  That is amazing
