Xmas and New Year review #2 Ramon Allones Small Club Corona - JAN 2018 (5 pack trade)

Ahhh, the RASCC--what a beauty.  This little guy smelled fantastic straight out of the humidor, emanating notes of honey, hay, cream, sweet tobacco and a touch of citrus.  Upon lighting though, I came to discover it was irreparably overstuffed.  Smoking it was a struggle from start to finish, and the perfect draw was of no particular use (the dry draw didn't seem terrible, but for some reason it just wouldn't produce any smoke (stored at ~62RH for at least a year)).  Nonetheless, I did patiently smoke about 2/3 of it.  Notes of sweet tobacco, honey, hay, and light leather predominated when I was able to keep it cool enough not to taste like charred @**hole while simultaneously coaxing it not to go out completely.  I tried double puffing, triple puffing, hot-boxing, lightly-torching-while-puffing, and even smoking through my nose:

All in all, not a completely terrible experience.  Just mildly frustrating.  I think I'll refrain from rating this one, just because the construction was such a problem.  Cheers!
