Popular Post CampDelta369 Posted December 23, 2019 Popular Post Posted December 23, 2019 Trinidad Reyes ARS MAR 19 (XNYRC) My companion for the next hour while I replace a gear plate on my Vergola patio cover. An ingenious louvered cover that closes for the rain and opens for sun and ventilation, all by remote. I picked up a 6er of Reyes last month for a taste. A first timer for me and only my second Trinidad. 1/2: starts with rich tobacco flavor with leather, nuts, and some creaminess. Black espresso on the edges. Smoke volume is great. Perfecto draw. No burn issues at all. 2/2: charred Unami and fresh tobacco medium+ body. This is relatively young but shows no signs I would expect at the finish. The coffee, tobacco, and savory notes intensified to the end. This Minutos was subsequently nubbed. Finished medium full. Overall excellent 91 all day. 8
JaeVee Posted December 23, 2019 Posted December 23, 2019 Umami? I thought Umami was more of a general description of flavors and mouthfeel than a direct flavor? I don't think I've ever seen that in a cigar review, but to be honest, I dont read many reviews.
CampDelta369 Posted December 23, 2019 Author Posted December 23, 2019 And I don’t write many reviews ? Unami as the 5th basic taste. More savory meaty type of flavor here.
bbguardsp Posted December 23, 2019 Posted December 23, 2019 Went deep on Reyes this year. Outshined Principe and RASCC for me in 2019 minutos. 2
