Quai d’Orsay Petit Robusto Review XMas Sampler

I’m not one to get excited about reviewing sticks, but this little devil was worth it. Following a light lunch I paired it with a ginger ale and a finger of Woodford’s on the side.

Started shrilly and I was worried that it would suck. Half an inch in and it blossomed into what I swear was a cousin of H Upmann...so many similarities. These persisted through to the end...coffee, some burnt sugar...and maybe due to the early time of day it seemed a stout medium body. Draw was perfect and it didn’t get raspy until the bitter end.  Hadn’t had a QdO since the late 1990s. Color me impressed. 90+ stick for sure. Amazing for such a youngster. thanks for including in the sampler Prez.
