Popular Post CampDelta369 Posted December 14, 2019 Popular Post Posted December 14, 2019 HUPCON-A PSP LMB SEP 18 (SM3RW) Cold nose: Heaven next to a Barnyard next to Upmann factory. 1/3: Lights easy, construction and draw perfecto. Initial flavors are earth and nuts, light coffee with some baked goods on the fringe. Start is fairly mild as compared to the Connie #1 and behemoth #2. A touch of Unami or leather. The burn is good but suffers a bit from high RH before the rains here. 2/3: Coffee comes forward and strength builds to medium. She is breezing nice at the half pole. Starting to get baking spices on the finish now. 3/3: strength build a bit more to medium + and some citrus on the edges. Some more nuts on the pallet. Maybe a sourness almost, but not off putting. We are only 15 months on this one so can be youthfulness coming through. This is one of my favorite cigars this year and the box has been extremely consistent. Overall a 90 on this one. Cheers 6
Siberian Bear Posted December 14, 2019 Posted December 14, 2019 Thanks for the review! Love this smoke as well as most of the HU line. My favorite one at the moment is Mag 54, what a smoke! 1
NSXCIGAR Posted December 14, 2019 Posted December 14, 2019 I am finding recent Connie As have been milder than in the past. Even more of a reason to stick with Connie 1s. 1
CampDelta369 Posted December 15, 2019 Author Posted December 15, 2019 I love the Connie #1 and agree it has more bite than the A. I also think it needs a bit more time down after trying a few of my BRE NOV 18 samples. Although I like them Ballz Out now too.
