Popular Post Wailbait Posted December 10, 2019 Popular Post Posted December 10, 2019 I have a soft spot for PLPCs with a few years on them (don’t love them when new) and I LOVE 2014 as a year. I have 2 cabs of these PLPCs from this time and I like them a lot. One of my cabs is more Colorado/Claro. And this one is more Rosado. It’s a unique color for PLPC. Ive had good luck with this rosado cab. Cigars have had universally great construction, burn and draw. This one is no exception. First half: It’s strong but refined. I have very high hopes. Classic twang. Doesn’t have the sweetness that is often present with aged examples of this cigar. But has good light fruit notes. Second half: The sweetness doesn’t really come through til the last third but I like this cigar. I don’t “love” it like some of my other ones in the cab because frankly it isn’t really as refined. Flavors are good but it’s not as smooth. Last inch though is well integrated. I’m excited for the rest of this box! I’d give this cab an overall rating of 93 and this particular stick a 90. 5
ohbob976 Posted December 10, 2019 Posted December 10, 2019 have a box with the same code got it in foh auctions. Haven’t em been impressed with the few I’ve smoked so far but hoping I’ll have a better experience eventually. Enjoy em. Nice review

Nice review A good cab of these can be great and a bad one can be a real letdown. My other lighter shade wrapper is definitely a 95 point cab. This one is just a bit less impressive. Still good.

Wailbait Posted December 10, 2019 Author Posted December 10, 2019 I don’t have enough cabs of these to make that same conclusion, but I CAN say that my best three cabs (AME 13, EML 14 and EML 15) are all lighter. That said, this rosado cab has been good. I saw some deep dark almost maduro LGR ones on FOH a couple of weeks ago. They looked sheeny as heck. I would bet those might be interesting!
Derboesekoenig Posted December 12, 2019 Posted December 12, 2019 I have had some amazing PLPCs from 14-16. If you don't have at least one of these cabs in your humidor, you're missing out. One of the great buys, and one of the only 50 cabs still left.
Puro_Lover83 Posted December 20, 2019 Posted December 20, 2019 What are the dimensions of a plpc 50 cab?

throberto Posted December 20, 2019 Posted December 20, 2019 I never hear of these in 25s, do they exist? Sent from my GM1903 using Tapatalk

There are not many 'premium' petit coronas left in regular production, nor habanos cigars that come in 50 cab packaging anymore, yet the Por Larranaga Petit Coronas, in this case, ticks both boxes. In short, no...they don't come in 25-count packaging, only 50. 1

Might spring for a cab for sleeping if I like them. Sent from my GM1903 using Tapatalk 1
