I've been in a bit of an enjoyment slump myself... but despite that fact, that I've continued to buy/collect cigars.  The last cigar I smoked was quite nice though, and it was a quality cigar but really nothing too premium or special (a little NC petit corona--Cameroon Cabinet #3 by LFD).  I think one thing that helped was that I actually took a break from a hectic day and went by the B&M, sat in a nice chair with some nice folks around and savored the experience.

More often than not when I find myself bored with smoking/putting a cigar down halfway through it's because I'm not in the right headspace (smoking by myself on the porch, thinking about something else I should be doing instead, etc.).  Just sharing in some relaxing conversation while smoking with somebody else can turn 45-90 average minutes with a decent cigar into a delightfully memorable experience... add an excellent cigar to the equation and magic can happen

Slowing down and being in the present is quite difficult actually.  Maybe a pre-smoking routine like stretching, meditation, or something will help clear the mind and put you in the present?

I agree.  In a sense though, smoking a cigar can be its own yoga or meditation when I can clear my mind and focus on my breathing (puffing ?).  But I think you're right... I need to smoke when I can live in the moment or I don't enjoy it as much.  I think I'm going to start trying to do more social smoking, and then save the solo smoking for when I'm really in the mood to just completely chill out for an hour and relax.
