Any other way and the smoke seems to linger and get caught in air filters and anything else it can adhere itself to....resulting in the consistent odor issues. Can you find a way to vent directly outside instead of using an air scrubber? Actually, the air from the 2 filters is clean. There is no smell at all in the air they are putting out. The smell is all coming from the heaters. When I am done smoking, I turn the heaters off and leave the air filters running, and then I come back to an odorless garage. The problem is, when it is cold out, I would like to be able to leave the heater on at around 50 degrees even when I am not smoking, just so we aren’t always walking into a freezing garage. But it’s not the end of the world if I cant do that. The primary focus of the heaters, by a wide margin, is to give me a warm place to smoke. I was doing something similar to what you were saying. I was leaving the ash tray on the floor next to the filter, and blowing smoke down in that direction. But honestly, it takes away from the experience, like a wrapper that wont burn evenly.

Why not just plug the heater on a temp controller (either mechanical or digital)?

There are 2 thermostats that I had installed on the wall. That isn’t the problem. The problem is, since I use the heaters while I am smoking, the air that the heaters put out, always smells like smoke, even when I am not smoking. The smell is embedded in the insides of the units. I don’t want the garage always smelling like smoke, so I don’t use the heaters when I am not in there smoking.
