Popular Post Akela3rd Posted November 16, 2019 Popular Post Posted November 16, 2019 From the old UK Box Pass (thanks toRDBM) and no date code. 55 ring guage Montesco 19:15Firm draw, nicely packed, hefty. V good construction, feels evenly firm throughout. Light sheen, Colorado. Smells nutty.Initial impression on lighting, white pepper on the lips which soon fades, mild leather, vaguely sweet, walnut and tea. Think I'm going to enjoy this.Well under medium strength, but nice delicate flavours.Hint of spearmint. Dense white ash, good smoke output.Very clean tasting with an almost self palette cleansing quality. Reminiscent of a Fonseca No1, slight sponge cake and marzipan.2nd - Remains mild yet flavoursome. More tea and sponge. Good grief, is this ash ever going to drop? Oh, it has at the halfway point. Smoke output increases and strength ups a little. Nuttiness returnsFinal third and a slight, but not unpleasant bitterness emerges reminding me of peppercorns.Flavours are getting muffled and mixed becoming just good tobacco and strong builder's tea. Peppery on the lips again and time to end it.Very good indeed, smooth throuhout until the last knockings.A solid 91 point cigar and good to go now, a year more might solve the ending though...20:18 Sent from 47171 Lempo 11

Weather permitting it's a Saturday night staple - perfect place at the bottom of the garden to enjoy a cigar in peace.Sent from 47171 Lempo
