Age your own sticks guys... It's all worth it in the long run. It's the main reason I overbuy today. I've only got about 3 years under my belt of this practice. I figure in another 5-7 years this will really start to pay off.

Thank you very much for posting this @ElJavi76 the article came out in August but a digital version was only released recently as far as I know.

Things warming up in Havana. Lots of stock of Punch La Isla, for those interested. Also lots of Santiago 11 year old and Nacional Ashtrays.

Corte de Príncipe’s food quality gone down a bit and the prices up which is a shame.

Still a great burger at Tocamadera.

Toby back in town recently. Nice lunch with him today.

Very decent Doner Kebab in Bone’Ma. One thing I always missed in Cuba. Now those days are behind me. Stuart Fox, knowing that, will move here permanently.

50 cartons of rum ordered for the party on the Malecon on Saturday night. Los Van Van kick off at 11pm.

Party in El Hangar, Boyeros tomorrow night. El Sauce and FAC Sunday. Need to confirm El Sauce tonight. Meeting the organiser when I go to see Interactivo in the Bertholdt Brecht theatre tonight.

Saw a fantastic open mike session in Bar Benbé in Barrio Chino last night. 8 year old pianist prodigy playing Oyé Como Va brought the house down.

That was after a very nice dinner in Michifu in Centro. Very very good restaurant by the old owner of Sia Kara. Indoor and outdoor smoking there. Ended up with some staff members from Mio y Tuyo nightclub in another nightclub LyM. Great DJ but poor smoking options. A live drummer with the recorded music had the place hopping.

Oh, and I had to turn down a fashion show by Clandestino and an after party with the models because it clashes with the Partagas closing dinner.

That is making me a little sad. Somebody asked me last night why I burst into tears on the dance floor.

Ooooohhhh, oooooh, me, meeeeee, MEEEE!!!!!  John and Alex and I actually DON'T HAVE anything to do that night (we're not doing the closing dinner this year)...so we can gladly keep your guys' seats warm until you show up!!!!!

I’ll see what I can do. I got the invite because it’s being organised by someone very close to me.

I made her cry tears of joy last Valentines night when we had a long conversation on the subject of Love. One of my proudest moments. I w as talking to her about my wife.

That is a very recent development. Obviously good staff is very hard to come by in Ireland at the moment!

I have confirmed El Sauce. We aim to be there at about 9pm tonight . It closes at 11pm. We will be in Fabrica de Arte (FAC) at about 11:30pm
