Popular Post CptGoodTimes Posted November 12, 2019 Popular Post Posted November 12, 2019 Okay...this is my very first Sig VI. This is a Tubo from UAO(El Laguito) FEB18. I mean stars are aligning with this one. Right? Wrong? All it takes is one time to become a nemesis I guess. ?? I’m not going to drag this out. Pre-light aroma of barnyard. Feels tightly packed. No soft spots. Wrapper looks outstanding. Burn & draw were very good. Where the wheels come off are with the flavor. This was so bland, I really questioned if I had indeed been abducted and dropped on another planet. Was this the Super Duper, bad-ass Sig VI I’ve heard so many rave about. ??♂️ Maybe it’s an outlier. I’ve got five more, so will give another go at in 6 months. Maybe longer. 5
JoeyBones777 Posted November 12, 2019 Posted November 12, 2019 I'm not a fan, myself! I don't get Cohiba in general. I've smoke a 5 year old sig 6, 3 robustos and a sig 1. I've enjoyed 0 of them. Given their price point I will not be experimenting anymore with Cohiba. If I pay $20 or more a stick I want it to be exceptional more often than not. 1
benfica_77 Posted November 12, 2019 Posted November 12, 2019 Could be due to being a tubo...never had any luck with a good tubo. My theory cigars to better in a box with its brothers and sisters haha. 1
Sandman Posted November 12, 2019 Posted November 12, 2019 Could be one of two things. Sometimes Sig VI’s can be boring as hell. I have experienced it many times over the past 15 years. But when they are on, man they are on. Fortunately I now have a very good supply of Sig VI’s that are on. Or, it could be the fact that it has been sitting in a tube for a while. Always take a Tubo cigar out of the tube a good five days out from when you are going to smoke it. It takes time for them to open up. Try and see what you find. I will usually have a handful of my tubed cigars out of their tubes if I think I’ll smoke them in the next month, and then if I’m going out and want to take them in a tube, I just pop one back in the tube and I’m good to go. 1

Thanks Sandy. I’ll definitely give this a try. I have kept them stored in their tubes. So out they’ll come tomorrow. I really don’t have much experience with tubos.
anjimj Posted November 12, 2019 Posted November 12, 2019 My MLO 2012 sig vi are coming around. They take time and patience. 1
