Bolivar royal corona 2015 (BOLIRW)

My step daughter and her boyfriend came down for the weekend, with the bf arriving earlier following an insane bikerode up pikes peak in the morning. We sat out on the deck to crush a few beers and I took the opportunity to fire up a boil royal Corona for the review competition. This kid is funny. Probably my step daughters best boyfriend but he has an appetite for punishment that makes me wonder whether he is all there mentally. He also only drinks boring beer. Meanwhile I am pairing this nice stick with a rodenbach grand cru that he took one taste of and made that "I remember my first beer" face. Oh well different strokes I guess. 

Cold draw was pleasant, aromas of barnyard and earth with promises of good construction and a nice easy draw. First third is earth and bitter chocolate, which compliments the sweet profile of the Flanders red ale.  We talked about how this guy wants us to do the manitou incline tomorrow morning. Mind you after he rode up and down pikes peak this day. He also has a bug to get up the thing in less than 30 minutes. My best time is 47 and I feel comfortable enough with my manhood that I am not trying to beat that record any time soon. Recollection is that apollo ono has the record at around 16 minutes. The cigar transitions seamlessly into the second third where stout notes begin to drift into the foreground. now I am seeing why I chose this beer and this cigar. The bitter chocolate and earth flavors combined with the stout are the perfect offset to the sweet beer. It is a beautiful day with the perfect amount of cloud cover.  I nubbed the cigar and we continued to talk. The guy is all right by me.

Ps. He made it up the incline in just under 31 minutes. What a show off
