cbenham73 Posted August 27, 2019 Posted August 27, 2019 I have 1 box of Trinidad Reyes with a May 18 box code and 1 box of R y J Short Churchills with a code of Mar 18. Which should I continue to sit untouched? Or should allow both to continue to rest? I have had both boxes for about 8 months and never tried either cigar. Your advise is appreciated!
mrmessy Posted August 27, 2019 Posted August 27, 2019 try both. take notes. check back in a requisite time frame based on your palate. life is short, smoke them. 4
Cayman17 Posted August 27, 2019 Posted August 27, 2019 I would try the Reyes and let the RyJ sit until March 2020. 1

lovethehaze Posted August 27, 2019 Posted August 27, 2019 Agreed with both comments so far. Smoke one of each and see how they are. Then wait a month and try again and so on Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 2 1
CaptainQuintero Posted August 27, 2019 Posted August 27, 2019 Should be great to go! I'd say pick whichever you like the smell of and light up, do the other a few days later. It's good to make notes but at the end of the day the point is to enjoy and relax so see how the mood strikes you, there's always plenty of other cigars to do tasting notes on.
Jbhunter223 Posted August 27, 2019 Posted August 27, 2019 You’ll never know if you like either if you don’t try them. And you won’t know how they change with age if you don’t try them young. 1
