Popular Post unclepauly25 Posted August 25, 2019 Popular Post Posted August 25, 2019 I got this cigar from @MigsG, it’s my first time trying this brand. It was a nice pleasant smoke. I’d say mild to medium body, smell at cold draw was spicy and cedar. I paired it with a healthy serving of Buffalo Trace Bourbon, it’s a 90 proof so not too overpowering. I used a straight cut. On the first 3rd I was getting cedar and cream. second third was more of the same with dark chocolate and a slight licorice taste. on the finish was a bit more power and a hint of coffee. It was a perfect draw and razor sharp burn. Also it had a very nice aroma. Overall I’d rate it a 90. I’ve been smoking more smaller ring gauges, i think I’d prefer the corona size but still a nice cigar, it produced thick smoke and I’d try other sizes in this brand. Wasn’t sure of the factory and month, but I believe it was from 2018. Also forgot to mention I stored it at 65% humidity and around 65 degrees Fahrenheit and dry boxed it for a week at about 58% humidity. Thanks @MigsG for the opportunity to try this smoke! 7 1
MigsG Posted August 26, 2019 Posted August 26, 2019 Nice review and photos, Alex! My experiences with the QdO 50 have been similar to yours. 2
CaptainQuintero Posted August 27, 2019 Posted August 27, 2019 Now that's a measure and a half of whiskey! I'd be falling back inside the house 1
