I can only say that what I do works for me, haven't ever lost any cigars through damage, never had any beetles and seems very low stress: Put cigars in 2 Ziplock bags Put cigars into freezer for 4 days Put cigars into fridge for a day Put cigars at room temperature for a day Take out of ziplock bags Put cigars into your stash 1

It seems that it is one of the cigar topics which doesn't have any scientific proof except cigar beetles die at cold temperature. 2
