ERDM Choix Supreme 2018 (HBFCRW)

Full disclosure - This cigar was enjoyed immediately following a local beer festival, so I was in a forgiving/distracted mood.  That said, I wasn't at a point where flavors were muted so take it for what it is. 

First Third: Bread, honey, fruit. Aroma, burn, construction were all spot on.  

Second Third: same flavors persist. This is definitely not a strong cigar, wouldn't even say medium, but it was the perfect cigar to enjoy in this moment. Getting more of a citrus twang too here. 

Final Third: Nubbed it. Got a bit hot, but I'd attribute that to my draw speed and intensity increasing as the mosquitos were fighting through the deet spray with vigilance.

Overall: 92/100.  

My expectations weren't high, and this cigar isn't one I'd go to as the star of the show, but boy was it flavorful.  I've got 5 more to see if this was an outlier or not, but this HBFC may just become box worthy for those lazy summer, day drinking type days!
