Apologies for the acronym salad.

This was a feisty little number, paired with some fabulous Hermitage Provenance 25 year old Cognac. I am cutting my own throat here, but if you want the best Cognac (and don’t want to drop 000s on Louis 13 etc) then go check out Brandy Classics online. 

Cigar was inspired by the ‘short smoke’ thread. God damn this is full of flavour. Claroish wrapper, not great looking. But good draw, great burn, tons of smoke, and did I mention TONS OF FLAVOUR? It’s quite RASCy, but less sweet, more forest floor, rich clean earth, a bit of bark. Mid bodied plus. Old fashioned I’d say: a smoke for an old dude who smokes a lot. In his study while answering correspondence. With a cantankerous old fountain pen. Muttering about how sure it’s not really a cocktail, but what do people know anyhow?
