I could only dream of having a place like that here in MN. We too have the smoking ban and the weather is getting...lets just say..not any warmer right now. I nice cup of java and cuban cigars, I might have to pay rent I would be there so much.

Filip Pilioras this week opened up the city's only Espresso Cigar bar. He wasn't arrested...there were no protesters...birds did

not fall from the sky.

Paladar Fumidor Salon has been a dream of Filip's for two years and it is as simple a concept as one could imagine.

1. Great Coffee

2. Great Cuban Cigars

3. Somewhere to enjoy both.

He and a few close friends completed the construction work in their spare time. The result is something so authentic that it would not look out of place in Havana. The coffee is fresh roasted espresso, the cigars are all Cuban and comprise an extensive and excellent premium range.

I swung past there today, for a coffee and a cigar(HDM Epicure #2). Hit the spot just right, interesting shop, great service.

Lovely place! I really like the concept and the attention to detail. It has such a richness of detail that invites one to linger and return. A must visit when I come by down under.
