Popular Post HumidorJuan
Has are quintessential sticks for my Humi, but I've never reviewed one! so nows the time. Part 1 HC's usually start nutty for me but this one was all wood and milk chocolate with a bit of a spicy tingly aftertaste, and at its core is that oily hazelnut I get from every HC I smoke. With a bit of dry hay in the background, chocolate milk is back in a kind of a Monte-esque way that I don’t usually get from HC’s. I’m getting raisin bread in the aftertaste and the retro-hale has a toasty-ness to it. A quick purge gives me fresh wet dough with plum and raisin and toasted hazelnut comes back in for the end of part one. Part 2 Part 2 starts with a bit of mongrel so I’m slowing my pace down to make sure it’s not me scorching it. The second part was more or less one note and finishes with muted flavours with a bit of fresh cut grass and a spicy tickle in my throat. Part 3 Herbal tea in a big way The mongrel is just outside the gate. Got a real bengal spice tea blend taste to it maybe a bit a chai with some chalky cocoa in the background. It’s like I’ve poured some milk in my tea now and it’s got a bit creamier less of an edge which is always a welcome thing for me in the final third. Oily hazelnut is back in a big way With Bengal spice firmly in the background. At the nub a mongrel covered in stale cinnamon finally breaks through the doors and I’m out. love it when the final third is the best experience 7/10
