Popular Post jmg Posted May 31, 2019 Popular Post Posted May 31, 2019 Dont smoke these often but dont have many PR/R on hand at the house right now so lit this one up. Besides, I havent had one in quite a while. Vcut and we go. 1st third is wet grass with a strong hit of cuban twang. Is that still a thing? No one can explain and I really cant either but it is something that is very distinct to habanos. Anyways, the 1st third has it in spades. And vegetal. Moving on to the 2nd, and just when i thought this cigar was going to be one dimensional, the flavors transition to a leathery earth. Twang starts to fade and the dirt-y flavor is full frontal. Last third and amazingly it transitions again to a sweet... clay? Is the best way fore to explain it. Leather and earth are still there but theres a very slight sweetness that seems mix seamlessly with the earthy flavor. Overall a decent cigar, suitable for yardwork (yardgar) if i had a yard to work on. The flavors dont really pop and its flavor profile is rather boring but the transitions DO offer something. 76 points. Sent from my SM-N910S using Tapatalk 7
slowsmoke Posted May 31, 2019 Posted May 31, 2019 Nice review. Tobacco, twang, and leather are exactly what I get out of the best Favoritos I've had. I love them when they're like that. I had one yesterday that was just awful. 1
dragn270 Posted June 2, 2019 Posted June 2, 2019 Definitely hit or miss but for the price who cares. Had one last night I could barely smoke the first third. Wouldn’t stay lit, burned super wonky and just tasted off. Decided to abandon that one and take a chance and grab another. Smoked perfectly!! Great hay, almost graham cracker taste the whole way through.
