Yes, Hector Luis Prieto has a casa in Vedado and he rents out rooms.

It's a reasonably nice third floor walk-up flat a short few blocks to the Nacional. Well appointed and updated.

His nephew is going to uni in Havana so they purchased the apartment for him to live in while there. He's 19 and never been out of Pinar del Rio until last fall. Seems he's enjoying what the city has to offer!

Sat out on the balcony most nights chatting with him as I enjoyed my rum and cigars.

Interesting young man studying international relations and English. Quite curious and intense, pleasure to spend time with. I think he may be an Ambassador one day.

Rest of the staff is lovely as well.

There's a cigar room that has a humidor stocked with his farm cigars and we were able to have them deliver 300 to us to take home!
