Popular Post BeerPimp Posted May 27, 2019 Popular Post Posted May 27, 2019 This is my first ever review so be gentle. ? I have been looking for a reason to smoke the PLPC I purchased as a single when I was just getting into CC's after my friend really pushed me to split a couple boxes. I am still very new to this hobby and it is interesting trying to see if you pick up the same notes as other in cigars. I definitely don't get as many different notes as others. Now on the the review. I paired it with some Japanese whiskey Suntory Toki which has a sweet honey finish. The draw was very good. I have a horrible time detecting anything past tobacco in cold notes but I will say it has tobacco and straw. First third was very mild which surprised me because young these are supposed to be full bodied. I got light tobacco and a touch of hay along with a little burnt sugar. About half way through the first third I thought I was going to have to touch it up because it was almost at a 45°. After I ashed it and smoked it a little more it totally evened out. Second third it is starting to pick up strength with some black pepper and leather but the burnt sugar undertones are picking up. Still burning very even. Last third and the pepper has subsided and there is still leather and tons of burnt sugar. Overall notes. This cigar produced tons of smoke for its size. It definitely had that burnt sugar flavor for the entire cigar. It was not as as strong as I thought it would be. This is so far my favorite petite corona. My second favorite is the Punch Petit Coronations. I was glad that I did not have to touch this cigar up even once which seems rare. I get annoyed when I have to touch up cigars but realize I am dealing with hand rolled cigars that will burn very different between cigars even from the same box. With that said there is something about lighting a cigar and not having to get the lighter out again. This was one of those cigars that never seemed like it was going to go out even with long times between puffs. It just produced thick luscious clouds of smokes that challenged me to not smoke it too quickly. After the last picture I took the band off and smoked it until I almost burnt my fingers. I kept telling myself okay I have 1 more puff as long I wait a bit. Then after that puff I would think ok just one more. But all things must come to an end. I am definitely going to pick up a Cab of these. 10
Raskol Posted May 27, 2019 Posted May 27, 2019 Nice pictures....Absolutely a great cigar ... Great review & thank you.
Bagman Posted May 27, 2019 Posted May 27, 2019 Very nice. I'm so OCD when it comes to even burns. Constant light touch ups. Leaving it to correct itself is something this OCD brain can't deal with. I would constantly stare at the burn waiting for it to correct itself before I could relax.
Bucky McSwensen Posted May 27, 2019 Posted May 27, 2019 Nice review! I tried one recently with only 2 years on it after being scared into the whole 5 year min required. They are great! Definitely want to experience the carmel bliss I hear about but they are still a great unique stick young

I know I never have. ? 1
