Popular Post JoeyBones777 Posted May 17, 2019 Popular Post Posted May 17, 2019 No box code as these were a part of competition winnings from our gracious host.? This my first EL and these have been resting in my humidor @ 65% humidity for about 3 months. I've heard about the flame retardant wrappers that sometimes plague EL's and it seems to be the case here. Regardless of the burn, the first 3rd is earthy with notes of dark chocolate and forest floor. Second 3rd hasn't really changed much as I continue to struggle keeping her lit. Final 3rd and leather and coffee come in for a bit before the cigar's youth shows up. There are definitely some other flavors hiding in here if the wrapper would stay lit and the youth rested out. I imagine it will be fantastic in a couple years. I'll give it an 84 currently but with a lot of upside. Luckily I have 2 more.? I was able to snap an obligatory photo at the start but forgot to snap more in between the constant relights and puffs. 12
Bucky McSwensen Posted May 17, 2019 Posted May 17, 2019 Thabks for the review and taking one for the team. I was dry boxing one to smoke this weekend but may have to put it back 1

Either way, I believe a couple years will help develop some of the flavors more and smooth it out in the final 3rd.
NSXCIGAR Posted May 18, 2019 Posted May 18, 2019 I've enjoyed the few I've had and had no wrapper issues. I think you just got a bad one there. It's an excellent EL--maybe the best Boli EL ever. Much more enjoyable for me than the 14 Super Coronas. Too bad I think the price is about 20% too high. 1
