Purchasing strategy? I'm not a hoarder--I promise!!

I guess my behavior leans towards hoarding. I do enjoy age on my CC. So I buy the box, and forget about them. Cuba production, or lack of, also stimulates buying habits.

I guess I never thought about it. I don’t really have a system, but I don’t think I’m a hoarder. I have about a 10 cubic foot humidor that I keep about 25 boxes in. When a box is ready I’ll take a few sticks out and move them to my “ready” humidor. I keep that full with a selection of sticks that are ready to smoke. When I empty a box and have room in the humi I buy another box. I usually end up buying a couple of boxes a month. I do have a few boxes that I only dig into on special occasions, but for the most part I smoke stuff as soon as I think it’s ready. Between them and the stuff that I buy locally at my cigar shop I usually always have something with 5-7 years on them.
