Partagas P2 MSU MAY 18 (PRW)

I’ve been in love with the P2 for the last 2 years. They have been brimming with those classic Partagas flavor and the construction has been awesome. 

Right off the bat: leather, coffee, that tangy bell pepper flavor and some background spices. Medium bodied. 

Unfortunately for this particular example the wrapper was pretty close to fireproof. This wasn’t the worst fireproof wrapper is ever encountered, but it was enough to derail the review for me as I was continually trying to torch the wrapper into submission while the filler and binder burned fine.

It wasn’t so bad that I couldn’t enjoy the cigar at all, the flavor was still enjoyable for the most part, but I struggled to pay close attention to any transition because of the wrapper issues.

Less than ideal example of a cigar that has been fantastic lately!
