I have never done a review, thought to give a shot.

Being new to cigar journey, there isnt much ready to smoke stock. Monte 5 is one of the first box purchased.

For me, it's a bit of mix love and hate with Monte 5 mainly due to the draw.  There is no doubt the flavour.  However, the plugged rate is quite high for me for this box.  It then become struggle fighting with it.

Cold draw is little bit on the tight side with taste of cocoa. Thanks to perfect draw so I can adjust  the draw to what my liking before light it up.

First half: sweet woody cream with little bit of cocoa

Second half cocoa again but stronger, the draw again back to the tight side than my liking.  I had to touch up twice.  A strong nicotine hit toward the end which I don’t mind.

Overall, I like the flavour and enjoy it.  It's all down to the draw which to me play a big part of in the experience.

Score 85 due to tight draw
