Monte Linea 1935 Dumas UEB JUL 18 MRW

This is my second from this box I bought in Havana last November. I chased it with an iced coffee. (Nespresso LE Intenso on Ice)

Construction was flawless. Punched the cap. Draw was perfect and I didn't even really dry box this one. Cold draw was smooth and slightly herbal, which threw me off a little. Wasn't anything like the first one I had. I'd love to tell it morphed or materialized into this or that, but this one was rather linear. I got glimpses of coffee and some baking chocolate. A Monte for sure but the first one I had was very twangy, if that makes any sense. I won't blame the cigar. I should've had this one first but it's actually my fourth cigar of this rather warm day in the Northeast. If I have the opportunity I might have another one on Sunday and add some notes from that one if it behaves any differently. Here are a couple of pics of this beaut!

Hi Javi! I think I bought a box at the same time at Conde Villa Nueva. We missed you in February. The usual suspects gathered. How have you been keeping?

Do you think these need time?

Yes... This was a November purchase. I got mine from Alex at the Comodoro. I didn't do February's festival. I'll be visiting at the end of May and I should be there for the November Partagas encuentro. I hope to see you and Agnes there. 

I do think these could use some time just because of the hit or miss nature. I've had three. The first was gifted by Elliot and it was very good. I've had two from this box and one great this last one didn't quite meet that standard. I'd like them to reach a point where they're all hitting that 90+ consistently.
