Popular Post Chucko8
Had a single stick of this in the box and figured it was a good chance to try it out and review. Wrapper is a nice claro shade with light oil sheen and a little rough to the touch. Pre draw light musty vegetal. Light up and taste of mushroom, forest floor straight off the bat. Settles into a light nutty flavour in the first third along with cinnamon and vanilla cream.Paired a new Nespresso coffee with the stick which is the Istanbul edition from their range. Seemed appropriate being an all Turkey affair. The constitution appears very good and the ash holding together quite nicely. Burn is crisp though has become a little lopsided in the first third. Has started to even itself out by the halfway point. The 2nd continues in the same profile as the 1st. Sweeter spice notes a little more pronounced which perhaps have been induced by the flavour of the black coffee. There is a light pepper in the retro hale and it’s pleasing smooth. Final 3rd increases in intensity though not harshly. Some cocoa flavour now present also. The cigar stays at a medium strength though offered full flavour and given it was pre-lunch smoke didn't feel overwhelmed. The cigar has opened up and the smoke is now voluminous and luscious. Hasn't become too hot or harsh though and able to smoke it down to nub. Score it a 91
