There are codes to use in Cuba with a Cuban sim card to find out how much credit there is left on the phone etc. Here are some

To find credit left on a Cuban sim

Open the phone app on the phone.

dial *222# and send. You will get a message with your remaining credit. 

To find the bonus credit left on the sim

dial *222*266# and send. You will get a message with your remaining bonus credit.

To Transfer credit from one Cuban sim to another. This can be very handy.

Open the phone app and Dial *234# and send

Choose option 1 Transferencia de Saldo (Transfer credit)

3.

Enter the destination (desired) phone number (number deseado)

4.

Enter the Key (clave). The default is always 1234

5.

 

Enter the amount (in cucs) you want to transfer

6.

Press 1 to confirm that that is what you want to do.

And that's it. Takes 30 seconds.
