Partagas Serie D No.4

Just got home from work...had a nice Ribeye steak and now a beautiful Partagas D4...I got these from an online source before joining FOH....

 

I have to say they are delicious....I get a sourdough bread tast....with a little paprika...slight black pepper and it develops into ginger biscuit flavor and the black pepper fades out significantly...

 

They are one of my favorite Cubans so far..but..I am new and I'm trying everything lol....

 

I did buy a 1/2 box of these on the 24:24 yesterday so looking forward to comparing....

The one PSD4 I've had was very good. I just prefer the skinnier ring gauge Party offerings. However if I find a good deal I'd definitely pull the trigger on a box. I have some tubos that may end up victims of arson soon...

Unofficially (of course) it's commonly maintained that the Partagas Serie D No.4 is the number one selling Habanos cigar currently, ahead of the Montecristo No.4. A few weeks ago I caught up with Alex Groom, who runs that fantastic resource we all know and love, Cuban Cigar Website, and we had a good chat about the database and which cigars were the most commonly held by users. Yes, this was number one.

Does Habanos SA ever put out any information regarding the sales of particular cigars for the year, or anything related to this? I'm assuming no...but doesn't hurt to ask. I've no idea
