El Rey Del Mundo Demi Tasse TEO MAR 18 Smoke and Drink Pairing Review

A box that I picked up from our host in order to grab a quick 20-30 minute smoke for when time is not conducive to a larger format. I.E during work times. Have paired this with a Nespresso Master Origin India coffee pod. Work times seems more appropriate for a coffee in the morning.

Very sweet taste on dry draw.

·         1/3 - Sweet, peppery and a little fruity. Surprisingly full flavoured for a little stick.

·         2/3 - Citrus and cedar. Sweet and spicy.

·         3/3 – Leather, Spice. Black pepper and some slight chocolate bitterness.

 

This is a great little smoke, perfect to have with your morning coffee IMO. The coffee is a stronger format and I took as a double shot espresso. The burn on this occasion was nice and the ash hold very well even being out doors in some light winds.

I wish these were ~$50/box. I’d keep a stack of boxes on hand if they were. Hard to justify though, when i can get a box of plmcs for roughly the same price. They are quite delectable little sticks though.
