The elusive custom that can only be obtained by an foh member from Alex directly from the motherland. I received 5 of these beautiful sticks from the latest legendary split via ethernut in the us underground sub forum.

 

The construction is perhaps the best I've ever seen. Perfect tension, perfect wrapper color and the draw is the definition of perfection.

 

I had a really hard time nailing down typical flavors that come from regular production. There is a similarity to cohiba, but only hints here and there. There's a nutty flavor that is rich and robust. Not peanut bomb nutty, more like almonds.

 

The burn is superb, razor line the whole way down. The ash lasts to about an inch before giving way to gravity. Many reports I've read seem to concur that these have been getting acrid and bitter in the last third. Mine was enjoyable down to the nub. It had some mongrel to it, but enjoyable mongrel, not bite your tongue bitter.

 

I wish I had a bundle, and that they had 3 years on them already. These have all the characteristics of a smoke that will develop into a smooth and tasty euphoric state of bliss.

I distinctly remember reading that it was, because I thought it was so cool that Rob had set that up. Now that I look for it, I can't find it. There must have been a second thread somewhere. Oh well, it's not that important.

You are right. Rob said something like that in the begining but I think it was a kind of hassle to keep that. Not sure, just guessing, maybe Rob elucidates it.
