Kitchen Posted August 24, 2018 Posted August 24, 2018 I am thinking about heading back to Cuba this winter for another photography project and would like to get to Pinar del Rio to photograph the tobacco. Optimally, I would prefer to get there with still growing fields of tobacco and perhaps the beginning of the harvest. What is the best time to plan this for?
bpm32 Posted August 25, 2018 Posted August 25, 2018 Huh, surprised no one responded to this yet, so I’ll throw out a response: early to mid February?
rabidraccoon Posted August 25, 2018 Posted August 25, 2018 The tobacco harvest will be in full swing during January, February and early March and the weather is great.
CubanConnoisseur Posted August 25, 2018 Posted August 25, 2018 The Viñales Valley region always looks fantastic in photographs, hope you get some good pictures!
