So I’ve had this box for about 2 years now and each time I reach for a cigar they never let me down. 

Although it wasn’t the prettiest stick the wrapper was fairly oily with a good pack and after cutting the draw was perfect, which for me is slightly on the firm side. 

I don’t find these cigars change too much throughout the smoke and this one was no different. The first third was all molasses with hints of coffee and baking spices. Slightly under medium bodied. 

As the cigar progressed the bodies increased to a straight medium and the molasses character took a step back but was still there if I searched for it. 

Overall I would give it a solid 92-93 points. I paired it with a black coffee and water, but I can see why El Pres would suggest champagne or a good prosecco with it. I think it would go great with a good rum. 

As far as consistency goes I have been very impressed with this whole box. They may not be the prettiest but I have not been let down with construction or flavour on a single stick yet. Having said that I am starting to think these may be at their peak now so will be looking to get this box finished over the next 6 months or so.
